I was born in the mythical land of Zamunda, but was raised in the technologically advanced nation of Wakanda. Just kidding! I was born and raised in Bissau, the capital of Guinea-Bissau (West Africa). Having also lived in Cape Verde, Brasil and Portugal has given me a unique perspective of life and has shaped who I am today - grateful for the rich culture and traditions of my homeland, as well as of my adopted home.
I know that some of you may be confused as to why I switch between Portuguese and English on this website. The reason for this is simple: I am a Bissau-Guinean immigrant currently living in Portugal and working mainly in English, so I speak both languages fluently. Plus, I like to mix things up and keep you on your toes. So, if you see a sudden switch in language, don't panic! It's just me being my goofy, multilingual self. Thanks for understanding!
